The announcement was made at the 43rd annual Canadian Business Aviation Association convention in Toronto.
Included in the enhanced weather package are: Nexrad Mosaic including CONUS composite, echo tops, precipitation estimate, radar summary, IR Satellite Data, 30-minute delayed lightning, Canadian weather (radar and IR) and Airmets/Sigmets/Convective Sigmets. It also includes weather data for San Juan, Alaska, Hawaii, Guam and basic National Weather Service data. In addition, Flight Explorer already includes a real-time picture of all IFR aircraft and weather over the United States, the UK (for authorized customers), New Zealand, the Caribbean and parts of the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans.
