Fairfax, VA and Dallas, TX - May 20, 2002 - Flight Explorer®, the world’s leading provider of Internet-based real-time flight tracking information, reporting and display products, is helping the City of Chicago Department of Aviation monitor the movements of aircraft in and out of the Chicago Airport System which includes O’Hare International, Midway and Meigs Airports. Flight Explorer made the announcement today at the annual conference of the American Association of Airport Executives in Dallas.
The Chicago Airport System is using the Flight Explorer® Professional software platform in its airfield operations, communication centers, crisis management center and in the executive offices. Walter Kross, CEO of Flight Explorer, said, “Chicago is the world’s busiest air travel center and we are very excited that the Chicago Airport System chose Flight Explorer to help expand its view of the national airspace. This is a strong vote of confidence in the product and we look forward to working closely with the team in Chicago.”
